Helping You Feel ALIVE
I believe that seeking out credentialed professionals is an important part of ensuring you get credible, trustworthy, and professional health care services. Instead of providing you with a list of educational accomplishments and professional certifications, I take things a step further and let you know how these credentials will benefit you and why they set me apart from the rest.

She is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and holds membership with Dietitians of Canada. Choosing to work with a dietitian means you can be assured the advice and information you receive is sound. To become a registered dietitian Alida completed one of only a few accredited food and nutrition undergraduate degrees available in Canada. She then completed 8 months of full time supervised practical training in dietetics.

I value a holistic approach to health and well-being and believe that health is about more than just the absence of illness. I am passionate about transforming lives and optimizing health by teaching people how to adapt in the face of everyday challenges to create a thriving, meaningful, and happy life.
I believe that our struggles related to food and weight can only be overcome by challenging the norms we have come to accept as part of our society. I am committed to helping you realize and cope with these norms by finding freedom from food rules and diet culture.
I promise to make you feel heard and respected and to be your problem-solving ally. I value your knowledge and opinions and will approach new and different ideas with openness.
